Its quiet now.
The laughter that was once held here is gone.
The warmth that was shared has vanished into the air.
Its grown harder to smile, harder to get up and get things done.
My heart feels heavy.
My lungs feel as if they were filled with water.
You're gone now, but the reason is a good one, one i can not fault you for.
One I'd asked you to do and still you stayed, if only for a while.
You showed me happiness I never knew existed and for that I will be forever grateful for.
